Transfer Your Domain to a Webservio Registrar
Webservio is proud to offer domain transfers to two separate registrars, thereby providing our customers with the opportunity to choose their preference. Please review the benefits and cost of each system listed below.
If you are currently a Webservio hosting customer and wish to transfer an existing domain to one of our registrars, please send an email to Webservio Customer Care. Include your contact information and domain name within the body of your email along with "Domain Update Request" in the subject line. One of our customer care representatives will contact you to begin the domain transfer process. Consultation fees may apply.
If you are not a current Webservio hosting customer, you may follow the steps listed below to transfer an existing domian to one of Webservio's domain registrars. Please note: If you require assistance from a Webservio representative and are not a current hosting customer, you will be billed at our standard hourly rate of $125.00 per hour.
- To begin the domain transfer process, go to our online utility site at: http://dnsgoodies.com and type your domain name into the WhoIs - Domain/IP Lookup query. Please take note of the following information which will be needed to continue the transfer process:

- Domain Status - This will be "clientTransferProhibited" if your domain is locked or "OK" if the domain is unlocked. You must unlock your domain to continue the transfer process.
- Domain Expiration Date - This will be listed as "Record Expires On"
- Administrative Contact Email Address - If this email address is no longer valid or if you do not have access to this email account, you must update this address to a valid email account before proceeding.
- Domain Registrar - This is the company with whom your domain is currently registered.
- Domain NameServers - These are the name servers used by the internet to lookup your website, email, start-of-authority, etc. records.
- Login to your current domain registrar. Make a note of your current domain transfer code (aka EEPCode, Domain Secret). This information will be required to complete the transfer process. Also, unlock your domain and update your domain admistrative contact if deemed necessary in Step 1 above.
- Choose one of the registrars listed below and click on "Transfer Your Domain To...." to begin the domain transfer process.
