When your email server is unavailable, Webservio Mail Bagging (MX Backup) captures the emails sent to your MX server and sends them to you when your system is back online.

Consider this scenario: An email message is sent to a valid email address. The mail server associated with that email address is down. The email message bounces back to the sender as undeliverable.

The mail bagging solution works in the following way: Webservio provides you with a backup MX record to add to your DNS. This additional MX record will have a lower priority so that it acts as your backup MX record, which allows you to continue to accept messages even when your mail server is busy or down.
